Winner of the Macau Architectural Awards 1991, and one of the invited exhibition participants of the 20th conference of the International Unions of Architect. The building is located in the site of the classified as immovable property (historical architecture)and in the Ensembles category in Macau. The design of Tap Seac Health Center used a modern geometric design style plus the contrast between virtual and solid design concepts. The building forms a “transition” and a visual connection with the classical buildings on both sides, mediating the conflict between the new and the old, the whole and the individual. The design of the building’s internal structure is symmetrical. Its design is inspired by the patios of Lingnan-style architecture, allowing much natural light to get inside the building.
