HENRY FOK FOUNDATION, MACAU CASA VERDE

The project is located at Estrada Nova Nº2 e Estrada de S. Francisco Nº6, also known as green house (Casa Verde, 綠屋仔). The project is about renovating the original building and reconstructing the attached building on the north side for the future headquarters of the Henry Fok Foundation in Macau (霍英東基金會澳門總部大樓). Portuguese architect Carlos Rebelo de Andrade originally designed the house in 1919 for the government. The design used the “CASA PORTUGUESAS” style and mixed with Medieval Portuguese architectural elements and some Chinese style elements. The house was used as a senior police officer’s residence and a residence for senior civil.
